She has received extensive training in collaborative law, mediation, and trial advocacy. In 2008, she was appointed as a Flagstaff Justice Court judge, and a Flagstaff Municipal Court magistrate. She has worked as an adjunct professor at the W.A. Franke College of Business at Northern Arizona University. She is on several attorney panels for Coconino County, including the juvenile dependency panel and the Best Interest Attorney panel for the County. She is an attorney panelist for the Coconino County Arbitration panel. She is also an attorney panelist on several legal plans, including Legal Force (formerly Prepaid Legal), Hyatt Legal Plan, ARAG, Union Plus, and CLC. She has received numerous pro bono awards for her dedicated volunteer work with D.N.A.
